The Greenwich Story
Greenwich Jewellery is a division of The Lieff Group (TLG), a family owned and operated company that stands out as one of Canada’s most diverse, independent jewellery businesses.
Founded in 1984, Greenwich has been demonstrating Fine Fashion jewellery at major department stores since its inception, gradually expanding from the Maritimes through Central Canada and into the Western Provinces.
Originally based in Nova Scotia, Greenwich Jewellery and The Lieff Group established its head office in Markham, Ontario in northeast Toronto back in 1987 and is now in its 25th year of operations.
The Lieff Group Management
Morris ‘Moe’ Lieff began his entrepreneurial career in Cape Breton back in the 1970’s. The lessons he learned from operating Pubs and entertainment venues came in handy when the opportunity arose to launch a retail demonstration company that could reach many more consumers than the population of his hometown!
Morris’ energy and passion could now be shared through the rest of Canada in major department stores. His sons, Josh and Aaron, joined Morris during their summer and school breaks in the early 90’s and after gaining outside experience post-graduation, they joined full time in the early 2000’s.
